A short and simple Ta Dah!

Yes, I do believe I am getting a little addiction for these.

I have a few....

......I certainly don't need any more.....

......but I picked up some lovely mohair yarn. A complete an utter bargain. Too good to be true. So this shawl was borne.

Quick and easy to make in a few evenings....

and all for £2!

A nice little bargain if you ask me!

Have the most beautiful of weekends.....

Edited to add: I forgot to put a link to the pattern on this post. I have posted it on my Ravelry projects list but if you are not on Ravelry and would like the pattern, just click here. Click on where it says the pattern is available for free and it will take you to the site where you can download the PDF. The pattern is in Japanese, but it has a good pictoral diagram that is fairly easy to understand! Hope you find this helpful!

  4. How lovely! A real bargain on the wool, and clever you for making one up in a few evenings - I think it would take me weeks having never tackled anything larger than a crochet cushion, assuming I could get to grips with the delicate lacy pattern!!
PS Having a giveaway on my blog if you'd like to pop over

Yes...Shawls can be addictive. I never used them until I started crocheting.
Did you use a pattern, or improvised it?

  18. Oh, you naughty little Coco thingy! You are pure bad influence... I got special yarn for making a poncho but this shawl would be even better... I wasn't supposed to get into yet another project. I was supposed to FINISH something... Aaaahhhh!

Thanks for popping over. I adore your blue door. And that lacy thingy in front of it is dreamy like a fluffy cloud. ♥♥♥ It will probably appear in my dreams tonight. :D

Thanks for popping a link for the pattern on.....I'd love to make one.....but zooming over to check the pattern out.....I think I'll have to give it a miss.....it looks so confusing I wouldn't know where to start.....I'll obviously need some serious crochet pattern reading practice before I could attempt something like this....I'll Pinterest it though so I can come back to it when I'm more experienced....well done you for figuring it all out!!! -xxx-
