The half hexies were simply just a ...Hi Jacquelyn,

The half hexies were simply just a hexie done in half. You have to turn each row instead of working in the round to get the same design.

I'm afraid I never had a set pattern for the small side hexies. It was just a bit of trial and error as to what stitches to do to get a sort of shape that resembled the top part of the hexie that I needed. It was a few years back that I made this blanket, but I do remember it was a bit of a faff and took a good few goes to get something that could fit. I just worked out with a ruler the bit of the hexie that I would need, then used the turn method to create something. I remember that I worked backwards trying to get the stitch numbers right. I started to look at the last round at the top and work out what I needed. that then denoted how many chains I needed to start the bit hexie off. I'm sorry that I cannot give anymore help. It was with no pattern and a bit of trial and error!Coco Rose Diarieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00708755502453874593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9105382986664426959.post-59170327306311335372015-12-15T13:44:44.915+00:002015-12-15T13:44:44.915+00:00I am in the process of making solid colored hexie...I am in the process of making solid colored hexies into an afghan. not happy with the edging. saw your half hexies. can't quite figure them out. bit of a tip to get me started?? i also "need" the straight edge for now. thanks in advance.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14230504457318508492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9105382986664426959.post-3656893572400592282013-05-23T11:22:52.585+01:002013-05-23T11:22:52.585+01:00I love the colour combination, and the 'densen...I love the colour combination, and the 'denseness' of the hexxies.
