Morning! Did you all have a pleasant weekend?
Mine was quite a relaxed one. Rugby and Grand Prix seemed to take up a lot of it.....although i'm not complaining.......it meant I had guilt free crochet time.....WOO HOO!
And, as if I didn't have enough WIP's to be getting on with, I decided to start two more projects......oh.....but I am ❤LOVING❤ working on them. Quick and simple, and completely in love. I don't seem to be producing any finished articles to 'show and tell', but you never know, they may all come at once. I was a busy bee last week doing a bit on this.....and a bit on that. I have set myself the task of spending this morning organising my week well so that I can pack in as much as I can. NO dawdling, NO procrastinating, NO head in the clouds. Pure graft this week.
Ha ha....who am I trying to kid! But one shall try. You never know, I might just do it. I am the worlds biggest daydreamer.
So, the sun pokes its head from behind the clouds to say good morning to me. I shall say BIG Good Morning back and get stuck into the day!
Have a super duper Monday all!

Dear Vanessa,
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day! I am so pleased you got a chance to do some crochet this weekend. It generally makes for a happy lady, right?
We are a little sad here as our dear barely-out-of-kittenhood cat has been attacked by another cat and is fighting a nasty infection.
Send her some love across the Channel, please?
I don't know how you do it, but just watching all of your lovely pictures loading makes me feel a little brighter on a dull day! So thank-you for taking the time to do this :)
ReplyDeleteI spent a lovely weekend with family!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, I wish you a pleasant and a nice Monday, kisses:)
Thank you for such lovely bright and pretty pictures today! I hope you can orgainse things so you get lots of crafty time this week. I have a few WIP's myself going on here and hope to make some progress with them all this week.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one who procrastinates! I would love to be able to get on with some crochet projects, but sadly too much boring paperwork and admin to do. I need to get all of that out of the way first, but it keeps piling up - or my husband finds me more to do!! Ah well, I'll get there in the end!
In the meantime, your cheery blog and lovely pictures keep me going! Here I am procrastinating again and not getting on!! Have a great week!
what a lovely post again vanessa. You make me smile every time without fail, with the words and the pictures. That's a good way to start the week.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the middle of finishing my first crochet granny project ... a doll blanket for my daughter's doll Poppy and I finished her knitted sweater this weekend as well. I have to admit that I'm very proud of that. And then I think it is time to make my son a sweater as well. He wants to have a homemade one as well :)
But first back to work.
thanks for the cheery post
Happy Monday, glad you had a great weekend xxxx
ReplyDeleteGraft....that is what I could do with. I've been thinking along the same lines, I've even been thinking about making one of those chore chart things so I can be less frantic and more ordered.....yes, I am that mum in the school yard looking ever so slightly flustered! But no more!
ReplyDeleteYou always post beautiful pictures. I love reading your posts. Hope you have a good productive week xx

ReplyDeleteHaha - your weekend sounded similar to mine. I am loving the rugby world cup, we often watch four hours of rugby and I crochet my way, guilt free for those hours. Total bliss & the rugby isn't bad either!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always so lovely and bright Vanessa, how do you do it?? :) Mine are quite often dull and dingy in this dismal weather we're having now!
