Baby Bear and I had fun making clay decorations. I usually use bog standard air dry clay, but I hate that I have to paint them afterwards. So, this time I thought I would try working with fimo. I got white and a salmon colour. Boy, they were hard work! Tough stuff to work with but not having to paint at the end was definitely a bonus!

Those are gorgeous. I used to love working with fimo when I was a girl. The snowflakes are darling, and the red gingham ribbon is the perfect embellishment.

ReplyDelete~ I'm having a PARTY today! Come on over and join in the fun! :)
They are very lovely indeed! I have some that are similar. Some are made from air drying clay and some from Fimo, I agree with you that the Fimo is hard to work with but gives a better result.

They are beautiful and very effective - hard work, but well worth the effect I'd say.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Where did you get the snowflake stamp to imprint them? You can now buy soft fimo, might be worth a go with the boys as it is easier than the standard fimo.
