Hellloooooooooooo.......

...........Wow, it's felt like I have been away for ever! I have really missed you all..........and boy, do I have a lot to catch up on! So, apologies if it takes me this next week to get round to you to say hello and reply to emails. You know what it's like. Coming back from being away somewhere takes an age to sort out and get back to normality!

So........Easter..........Did you all have a good one? I know it probably seems like a lifetime ago now!

We all went down to Wales to visit family. It was the perfect week. It has been full on in the H household these past few months and Mr H and I desperately needed a change of scenery and pace. The week being so perfect weather wise, made it for us.

We spent almost everyday at a beach.

Rock pooling and hunting for crabs and starfish

The Bears had the time of their lives. They were worn out every night by sea air and running up and down sand dunes, along beaches and sea fronts. To breath the sea air in the lungs, sit on the beach with the sun in your face, listen to the waves greet the shore........it was heaven. I needed it.........Mr H needed it. I have come back a shade darker and a sprinkling of freckles........Mr H looks like he has had a months holiday in some hot mediterannean country, it's shocking!!!!!!

I would wake up every morning bright and early and go and sit outside to have my cuppa. Sat on the outlaws swing seat, listening to the trickle from the pond and the fish dancing in the water. Listening to the songs of the morning birds, looking at the morning bugs hard at work on the blossoming flowers, looking up at the big, clear blue sky and knowing it's going to be another beautiful day! Ahhhhhhhhhh that was bliss. Those morning moments make it for me!

My morning sky view
And making sure I got a stripy wash done!

The garden flowers were out, which I was taking full advantage of. I took some photos of my tulips in my garden before I left as I knew they would be gone by the time I got back. The weather was so hot, I feared that everything would be dead, so, I was definitely going to take advantage of the flowers every morning when I had my outside cuppa!

There was so much colour everywhere.......very smile enducing, and the sun shining made it all gleam just that little bit more!

We managed to remember to pack the Easter buckets and eggs for the hunt....

When we wern't at the beach the boys had fun in the garden

My beautiful sister-in-law lives close by also with her husband and three Bears too! All six Bears had the most amount of fun in the garden. As you can imagine...........6 young boys...........a lot of lively fun!!!!!!! They loved it! I loved spending time with my sister-in-law. She is another me, only way cooler, and completely gorgeous! She had a mega busy week and it was such fun helping her! I should explain.......A couple of you know her, but probably don't know that we are related! If you take a peep at her blog here and read her posts, you will know why I had such a fun time!!!!!!!!! I missed her terribly when we left! I did come back with the most fantastic of goodies though courtesy of my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law. It took ages for Mr H to pack up the car as it was all coming back with me.....more on the goodies in another post!!!

We got back late Easter Monday and the Bears went back to school the next day. We were sad to come back.

Mr H had taken this past week off too, so it was nice to spend a bit of peaceful time together without the Bears. So........I took full advantage of being away from the computer and checking my emails and concentrating solely on the family.

Now, it is back to reality with a thud and life resumes at the hefty pace it did a couple of weeks ago. It was the most perfect 'pick me up' and I hope it carries me for quite a while!!!!!

Right, off now. I have a million chores to do that will take a few days to get sorted. Once they are done and some assemblence of order has been resumed in the H household, I will make a start getting back to all of you who have contacted me about bits and bobs! Sorry for the delay again.......promise will be on top of it all soon!!!!!!

Cheerio all!
