Discovered a spot for a lamp I found in the depths of my Loft. It is named by my bears as the turquoise onion.

I'm a fan of Rocky Road too, made it last week and we all ate it.
Will make some new tonight to take with me to my parents in law tomorrow
(instead of flowers) i think they will enjoy that very much ;-)
have a happy weekend x
Oh if only I could find 'onions' like that in my loft! I only find bits of what Im looking for {never the whole thing} or spiders with more attitude than Vicky Pollard.

ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa. Turquoise onion. Ha ha ha! Kids are great! I wonder how you make that Rocky Road thingy... I am a sucker for American Rocky Road Ice Cream. Yum! I better surf The Internet to find out waht your secret recipe is. New blanket? I am not surprised if it is. :D Looks divine and fun. Enjoy your weekend.

It is indeed a turquoise onion, lovely! Great pictures this week, hope you have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh the turquoise onion lamp has just made my stomach sink... it reminded me of last Saturday in tk maxx when I found a turquoise glass owl lamp base and fell madly in love, only to discover minutes later that it had a large hole in it. Loving your new blanket idea...Andrea x
ReplyDeleteMy goodness you have the most beautiful photos ever, you have a wonderful eye
ReplyDeleteYou've had a busy week !
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful.......your house must be a magical place to live.....
ReplyDeleteI'm also nursing a sore throat and cold, your photos are so bright, light and inspirational. I adore your cute pastel brooches and as for your 'messy collection' it's rather a collection of pretty messiness which to be fair looks lovingly organised in it's own little way. Everything compliments one another x
ReplyDeleteLove the colors of the things in your home, everything seems so cheerful, pretty and "together" like it all goes perfectly and compliments. So pretty. That crochet looks far too interesting to keep it secret! oh do tell!
ReplyDeleteI love that the bears are naming your lamps.
ReplyDeleteThe potential blanket is really catching my eye. The flower row is nothing short of amazing!
Lovely pictures - is that Winchester Cathedral? I've just arrived home with a bit of a sore throat so will be dosing myself with ginger and all things hot. Time to put feet up and gather wool, I think. Have a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos - again - your blog is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow refreshing to see so much lovely colour on such a gloomy, wet, grey day!
ReplyDeleteThe crochet stripes are gorgeous, and I adore your turquoise onion vase - well named.
All your gorgeous colourful photos have lifted my spirits, thank you.
Gill xx
