It's amazing how a shift in thinking can change the whole day. Cozy mornings make for such great days; grey ones seem to be fraught with little aggravations. I wish for you all your grey mornings turn into cozy ones!
Hi Vanessa, I had one of those cozy, dreary gray, mornings yesterday. Today the sun is bright but it is windy and icy cold. It is a nice morning to be inside with a cup of hot tea and a fluffy golden retriever who wants to cuddle every time I sit down. :) Yesterday after the rain, we had birds of every description in our yard, and they put on quite a show. The deep red cardinals are especially beautiful. My heart delights every time I see one. I hope you have a wonderful day ahead. Delisa :)
What a beautiful mug. I have to confess I really love bad weather, because it's so nice to stay cosy and warm inside. Your photos capture it wonderfully.
Hi Vanessa - thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. Nice to have found yours too! Such gorgeous photos, you've made me wish for a grey morning tomorrow so that I can linger with a cup of tea in bed with the lights on low. Oh, except I am meeting a friend for a 5 mile run after the school drop off...so instead I will definitely re-create this on Saturday morning! x
Vanessa! I just discovered your blog this past week and it has been a true inspiration for me. I am settling back into college life in the states and I have found crocheting to be a great outlet for relieving stress and relaxing after class. I am even considering starting a blog of my own to show off my makes and escape chaotic dorm life. Thanks so much for your blog and inspiration! Cheers, Cristyn
Your house is looking really cosy, something I've been struggling to do but it's early days yet :-) I love your little pom poms on the fireplace and you've reminded me that my mother-in-law has some painted tins for me which my indoor bulbs will look lovely in :-)
Love the blog, please can you tell which make and quality of yarn you have in your basket on the 14 th ? It look a lovely. I am rather partial to Sublime yarns myself. X
