....Finding things I had forgotten I had. Always nice.
....Stripes.
....How Middle Bear has taken a shine to Happy Scrappy Blanket. I have to admit, it's incredibly snuggly and i'm really loving getting use out of it too.
....Having fairy lights on, and saving pretty blooms on a rubbishy weather day.
....Still enjoying vibrant peonies in my vase.
...Having a bit of sunshine in a cup on a grey, wet and windy morning.
....Enjoying sunshine in other ways too.
Have a super weekend all....

It is dreary here too, in Ireland. Nice to see some sunshine in your post, though! Dana
ReplyDeleteI love it all! You can't help but smile, with all those lovely colours around you. I've had to put the CH back on for Mum, but am quite glad of it myself, on this wet and windy day. Cheered by the fact I'm off to Patchwork (my craft group) for the afternoon, while Mum has her nap. Have a great weekend. Hugs x
ReplyDeletebeautiful Vanessa, your art of display and lovely objects...swoooning as always xx ...i saved a huge rose head the other day which blew onto the school path ;0)
ReplyDeleteYour wet weather day looks very cheery with those stripes and colours.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a glorious weekend, rain or shine...
xx
Such lovely glimpses of colour in your world and so cheery. Thanks for sharing. B
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your little splashes of colour around the house. Great idea to rescue the flowers from the weather, they will probably last longer indoors than out in the rain! Hope that you have a fun and colourful weekend. xx
ReplyDeletesuch pretty little bursts of sunshine in your home. =) Loved your post. Blessings and Sunshine, Valerie
ReplyDeleteRegardless of the weather outside, I'm always guaranteed sunshine and bright happy colours when I visit here! Chrissie x

Love that yellow stripey mug and that beautiful blanket. In fact I love so many of the things I see around here, you have such lovely taste. I hope you have a good weekend. CJ xx
ReplyDeleteLove your 'happy, scrappy blanket'. I've just finished a patchwork one and am just learning to ripple to make my daughter a blanket - I'm hoping it gets easier! x
ReplyDeleteI love all the snapshots of items in your kitchen! I also love finding happiness in the smallest details :-) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love stipes, too!!!!

ReplyDeleteLovely photographs Vanessa! Reminding me to look for the bright, pretty things on these constant grey days of ours at the moment. Love Julia xxx
ReplyDeleteI love your lantern in the first photo, I'm thinking what a fabulous colour combination for a crochet project, but I must exercise some self control - too many WIPs already! It's lovely to see your Happy Scrappy Blanket is being loved and used as intended. Have a super weekend.

Love the sunny yellow in these photographs... need those cheery colours again on yet another dreary day. I've been saying I'll do some gardening today though I still have yet to make it outside - much rather be snuggled with a crochet blanket like your beautiful one! I shall garden... after a cup of coffee!
