When In Doubt......

Do something that makes you happy....makes you calm.......

Go for walks and breathe in the country air....

Drink in the golden glow as the sun starts to set....

...and marvel at its beauty.

Bake a cake...for no other reason than you just want to.

....and love nature, for all that it brings....

I have felt restless this week. Doing simple things has been lovely. The Bears have been good......no massive bickering this week....phew. I have just been thinking a lot about stuff. This little blog of mine. What I want from it. I'm trying to figure it out. Every now and then I think long and hard about it and where I am going with it. Sometimes I feel satisfied with it, sometimes I feel bored with it......and sometimes, I'm not sure if it's going anywhere. But does it need to be? Maybe I just feel blah and my little space here bears the brunt of it.

I'm taking a short little break......just a little one. Just some time to gather my thoughts, spend time with the Bears and not feel tied to anything.

I'm sure when I'm back I'll have mountains of words to write and pictures to upload.

Until then.......

  1. Silly, but just the title of your blogpost brought back memories. Of a book I read at school some 40 years ago: Jennie, by Paul Gallico. Jennie, being a cat, has a favourite saying: "whenever you're in doubt: wash". This is why you see cats washing so often :-))))).
I think that in a way you need some washing time as well. It's not necessery to write often and I don't know if a blog should go somewhere. Maybe it's just to bring a smile or a thought to someone. As you gave me by this title :-).
    Enjoy your summertime!
    Warm greetings, Nelleke

  8. I'll I have to say is, well, crap! Why does it have to be going anywhere? Why does it have to have a point? Why can't it just BE? Yours is one of the loveliest blogs around, and I enjoy reading it every single time you post. There are plenty of others who do too. I hope you have a wonderful break and are rejuvenated and filled with inspiration to just BE. Love the picture of your peppers. Ciao, girlie!
