Update.......

OH MY WORD

You know I thought this current WIP could have gone one way or the other?

Well.......

....it went the right way.

TOTALLY and UTTERLY the right way.

Phew.

I was so nervous. I had such high hopes for my whim of an idea. It is sewn together and it is everything I had imagined it to be......and so much more.

I'm utterly in love with it. Soft and utterly wonderful. I'm skippy and giddy.

Of course.....me being me......I'm now thinking on several more.

I'm just deciding on leaving it plain or embellishing it........and once the weather is good (seriously pants hard rain and general greyness today) I shall take some pics and give you details.

Watch this space.....

  5. What IS it??!! It looks gorgeous, I love anything in grey and the stitch is beautiful.
On another note, thank you for your skin care piece a few weeks ago, as a result I decided to try the double cleanse thing and I'm really feeling the difference (I was previously very poor at skin care - a smear of Nivea and hope for the best, but with a big birthday looming for me it is definitely time to do something!). I have knitted some simple facecloths too in pure cotton which give me great pleasure to use.
Thanks again, look forward to seeing your finished creation

    1. Ooooooooh so glad your new skincare regime is working out well for you. I'm amazed at the difference it has made to my skin. I was so basic and low maintenance it was ridiculous. It's also been nice to make the facecloths too. It sort of feels like a bit of luxury for the face. x

      p.s it's a sweater!

  11. Quick question on the crochet stitch you are using... Is this the single crochet, chain one pattern? Or the single crochet, double crochet pattern. I have viewed several YouTube videos and apparently there are several different moss/seed crochet stitches. Love the texture and color of your WIP. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
