Cosies, Cosies, Cosies................

Okay, so let's have a bit of hooky talk today shall we? Ahhhhhhh it's been a while. I have been doing little bits and bobs behind the scenes these past couple of weeks, as and when the mood has taken me. One moment I have looked at all my WIP's and not felt like bothering with any of it, the next, my mind is racing with ideas and wants to make up.

.................I have been struck down with cosy love..........first apple cosies, then little egg cosies.........

These were such fun to make, and have brought big happy smiles to my face. Taken from Nicki Trench's Cute and Easy Crochet. Pretty little lovelies to brighten my mornings. I SERIOUSLY love that book. I enjoyed making them so much, I think I will make up some more for presents.

It feels nice to be starting to get all the creative flow coming back. I have been spread out all over the place recently, so I am hoping that there will be some lovely calm days over the summer hols to just relax and get some crafty delights finished off!

So, cosies for my apples and cosies for my eggs......hummmmmm anything else cosy-like I have my eye on making?..........We shall see................!!!

P.s Many of you asked what the app was called for my phone....it's called 'Alarmed - reminders, timers, alarm clock'. Also, Many inquired about the tissue paper pom poms........check out here for a tutorial if you are interested.

  13. Hi Vanessa! Thanks so much for the info on coat hangers... samples are being sent as we speak! I see that your crochet creations are getting smaller in the last few posts, so in the same vein, and as you asked for suggestions of other things to cover... have a peak at these little covered cork creatures from Annabooshouse that I found last night... :)http://annabooshouse.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
