Wow
This year has been a strange one for me. It has been a year where I have needed to thoroughly slow things right down. The previous two years.....actually, the previous four years had taken a lot out of me. I guess I didn't really realise it until this year.
My time in blog land has been limited, especially the last 6 months. I have missed not logging in to catch up with everybody. Please don't think me rude. I have just needed some space. I have needed to spend more time away from the computer. I love my little space here. I love to write and chat and be creative, but it has been good to have a bit of distance.
I hope I will enter 2013 with a renewed energy, ready to be a regular blogger again. It would be nice.
I have amazed myself, looking back through this year how much I have managed to pack in though. This is why I like my blog. It reminds me that even when I think I am getting nowhere, I have actually achieved something!
So, as ever a short one, but I just wanted to pop my head in and say
Happy Christmas
to you all and a really
Super Duper
New Year.
Thank you for your continued support of my little space here. Your comments.....always read and so gratefully received. I really am humbled that you take the time to read, comment.....and spur me on. You are all such a fab bunch of people and this crafting blogging community is really rather special.
So.......
.....see you next year!!!!!!
Much love
Vanessa

hello my lovely xx i havent mised you cos ive kept secretly checking your instragram and soooo love your daily pics on there- id love to do insragram but i have a pre-historic phone, well it is touch screen but the internet and camera are a bit basic...hehe....love your festive images...blissful...I think taking time out is a good thing i know how i'd got addicted to turning the laptop on when i woke up and i had to stop doing this...so my posts are less frequent and i just accepted i cant answer every email and message, but instead try to comment when i can. your creative eye in photography vanessa has got me cheery on some really bleak parts of the last 4 months/year...i try not to be so vocal on my personal life these days. Just looking at your blog/instragram cheers my day...
ReplyDeleteI wish you all a very happy christmas beautiful xxxxxxxxxx
For you also a Merry XMas and a SUPER DUPER 2013!Beautiful photo's ...really cosy!

Hi Vanessa,
ReplyDeleteEven though not so frequent anymore, I still love reading it and knowing that everyone has their own story that sometimes resembles my own. I love seeing the photos of your handy work or of landscapes and it makes me appreciate life even more. So I'm glad you've taken (and take) the time you need. I'll be around ;)
I wish you and your bears much fun and quality time during the Christmas holidays and wish you lots of love and creative juices flowing. Happy holidays!! And I'll see you around next year.
Take care xxx

Beautiful pictures and a very very good idea you gave me: What have you put under your Greengate star cup? I have surched for a looong time for a nice placemat/saucer to put under my cups so that the heat doesn't make markings on the table. Where did you find yours?

hellooooo my sweet x i really enjoy your instagram pics! they've cheered my day so much these recent months!- hope you are having a lovely beginning to your new year...I saw your lovely pic with the books on instagram and i'd done the same was sitting on my sofa with a pile of inspirational books, coffee and laptop thinking why do i feel lacking in imagination! I haven't been creative in a drawing way for months!!!!...I too get a bit disheartened when i feel these lacking thoughts. I am going to buy some daffodils and cheer my home up! that might help me a little bit...and even maybe a cakey from the bakery (smack my bottom heehee),
